When it seemed that the story of great European soccer stars landing in the United States to play in Major League Soccer (MLS) was about to add a new chapter with the arrival of Andrés Iniesta at Inter Miami, the Spanish midfielder surprised us once again. In an unexpected twist, Iniesta announced that he will not be heading to the MLS, but rather to the less touted market of the United Arab Emirates.
